Kylie's Horse Show

Today at camp was a horse show for Kylie. She has been taking horseback riding lessons at camp and today was the day to showcase what she has learned. Boy I was surprised. I thought she would be led around, but she hopped up on the horse herself and went off with the horse all by herself. She was so serious and proud. She had to lead the horse three times around the track and than was asked to stop the horse, change direction and than lead the horse into this little square. She was judged on her ability to have control of her horse and how acurate she got in the square. She was also judged on her posture, looking up and wrist position with the reigns. She did AWESOME!! She came in second place in her class and was so excited. They had a ribbon ceremony and they had cake to celebrate. Kylie's horse was called Mickey. I have posted some pictures below.
