Hold on Loosely but don't let go......: The Boardwalk

I love the boardwalk at the beach and my girls seem to be following in my footsteps. I love the sounds, the lights, the people, the smells of all the food and just the excitement. I love to sit on the bench with a snack and just watch people. Well my girls really like the treats and the rides. Kylie and Karly are ride phanatics and the faster and crazier the ride the more they want to ride it. The first night I was able to contain them on normal kiddie rides but by the second night we were riding the scrambler, the kite flyer (yes, Karly met the height requirement, and there was no stopping her from flying in the air with me holding onto her for dear life), the ferris wheel, etc, etc. Of course I had to ride all of these rides too and I don't know if I am getting old but I really don't like to be spun around over and over again. The thing that was the most fun was the pure excitement in their faces. Every ride was more exciting than the next and they both had a smile on their face the whole night. Karly has a very loud scream and could be heard from wherever you were standing. After every ride both of them were begging to go again and again. Besides the rides, there was endless trips for water ice, ice cream and fudge. Kylie is also insistent on getting a hermit crab ( I did not cave in, this time) so we had to stop at every store that had hermit crabs and look at them. Kylie got her hair wrapped which she was over the moon about and we all got matching sweatshirts - lol. It was really a fun time. Here are some pictures of the girls on the rides.
