We had been meaning to bake Jesus a birthday cake on Chistmas Eve, but it never happened. So we deceided to celebrate the new year with a cake. Baking with the kids is always an adventure, but our cake came out good. We sang Happy New Year over and over. We also did a craft for the day and just hung out and did really nothing. Sometimes a nice way to spend the day.
