The National Aquarium

On our second day in Baltimore we headed over the the Aquarium. It is such a great aquarium. We started the day off seeing the sting rays and little sharks in the big observation area. The girls were disappointed they took away the "touch the stingray" exhibit. After that we saw a 4-D movie about earth that was really neat. They did a good job in a kid friendly way to explain how everything effects the environment. They also featured whales (the kid's other new obsession) so they were ecstatic. After the movie, we headed over to the dolphin show which as always was a blast. We had some lunch and than toured all the exhibits.

Kylie's favorite exhibit was seeing the octopus. She was very proud of herself because it was hiding in the cave but she spotted it out when no one else could. Karly loved seeing the stingrays and tiger sharks. She was mad that she could not touch them and when she grows up she is going to swim with the dolphins like at the show. Who knows someday maybe we will be visiting her at the aquarium.
