After Kylie's competition we decided to make it a special day with just the two of us and head into the heart of Amish country and go on a buggy ride. Kylie's friend Sarah joined us for the ride. The ride took us down some rodes and talked about Amish culture. Kylie could not believe that they do not use the telephone or have tv's. She kept saying "Really?".
After the ride we went and had lunch at an Amish restaurant and Kylie loved the apple butter. At first she wouldn't try it because it was brown but once she had it she couldn't stop eating it. We went into a replica of an Amish house and walked around and finished the day with watching a film about the Amish. It was nice just to spend time with her alone and talk.
