Every year on Christmas Eve, the girls get so excited. It is one of my favorite things about them, is that they get so excited and so expressive about things. This year was no different. Kylie had the letter written to Santa, Karly remembered we have a special plate that says Cookies for Santa (thank goodness I could find it), Kylie counted out the exact number or carrots and extra for Rudolph, since he does a lot of the work. Karly and Kylie both layed out the cookies and were bouncing up to bed. I really enjoy the magic of Christmas through them. Since Kylie was little there is a book that I read called You are my Miracle, just a simple little book about how the child is a miracle to the parent. We read that every Christmas Eve. It is funny how they remember the simplest little things and we have created our own little tradition. I often wonder when they get to be older, if looking back they will remember those moments with joy and carry them out with their families.
