Thankful

Since today is Thanksgiving and this blog is about my girls, I thought I would take a minute to write how thankful I am to have them in my life. Some day when they are older and they look back to read this (hopefully), they will know how special they were to me.

Before my children were born I was a bit self centered but the moment I found out this miracle was inside me that changed. I went from a carefree, doing whatever person to someone who worried like crazy and all the cliches of motherhood came true. When they placed both my girls in my arms, my whole life changed for the better and in that instant there was a bond formed.

Kylie -When you were born and they placed you in my arms, I had no idea what was in store but I knew how much I loved you already You have turned into a very lovely girl who has such hold of my heart. You are loyal to those you care about, you are honest, smart, funny and sensitive to those around you. You have this ability to know when people are upset and you want to make things better for them. I am so thankful that you are in my life and look forward to watching you grow.

Karly - You were a firecracker from the start. You have this sense of awareness and this ability to make me laugh. You are headstrong but that is a positive trait. You have the ability by just one smile to change my whole day. You are extremely loving and warm my heart with your personality. You always tell me how beautiful I am and you are only 3. You are the one who is beautiful inside and out. A free spirit who can stop to admire a rock and find all the things that are great about that rock, I am so thankful you are in my life and look forward to watching you grow.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. This year I have so much to be thankful for.
