The Dentist

The girls went for their 6 month check up to the dentist. Kylie loves the dentist. She gets so excited to go get her teeth cleaned. This visit she wanted the dentist to tell her how loose her teeth are. She has been dying to lose a tooth. Most of her friends have lost teeth, but not Kylie, they are holding steady in her mouth. The dentist said, they are a little wiggly, but not loose. She said alright, I felt bad for her. I don't want her to lose her teeth, I love her smile. She got in the chair, didn't move, was very cooperative and had no cavities. The dentist even said her 6 year molars had come in, I didn't even know, she never complained once.

Next, it was Karly's turn. Karly does not like the dentist (she has been twice before). She doesn't like the brush and HATES the fluoride treatment at the end. In the morning when I informed her of where we were going, she declared that she was not going and she literally kept her mouth shut till we got there because she did not want anyone looking in her mouth. She also has been eating a lot of lollipops, which is not good with the dentist. She knew she was going to fess up. So, she watched Kylie and than it was her turn. She didn't do as bad as I thought she would. She did interrupt the exam about every 2 minutes because she could not stop talking. It was quite funny. She had no cavities as well which she was so excited about (I don't even know that she knows what a cavity is). The fluoride treatment came and she gagged and started spitting, but that was the only drama. It was a great visit.
