Pinkalicious

Last night was the first night of our kids book club. A friend of mine came up with the idea and we ran with it. We wanted to install the love of reading into our children and make it a fun time. We started last night with the book, Pinkalicious, which was a huge hit. Everyone had to come dressed in pink (adults too). All the drinks were pink, snacks were pink, etc. It was such a blast. I am in charge of craft each month so this month I chose a wood circle box and got glitter paints, pink rhinestones, a girl power wood thing to glue and the girls went to town. It was such a fun evening and with 10 girls it was loud, but hey that is girls for you. We have a book planned every month so it should be a fun year.
