Karly's Swim Lessons

All those who know Karly, know that she is fearless. In the water she is fearless too, but with the safety net of swimmies on her arm. I decided that I felt bad that she never had formal swim lessons (and her sister had swim lessons since she was 5 months old), so I signed her up for private swim lessons at a place in Wayne. The pictures below are from the first day. She was very excited and told everyone that she came in contact with that she was having swim lessons without her swimmies. At the lesson, she didn't want to put her face in - which is crazy because at the pool, she is under the water all the time. I think she was a little nervous with the swim teacher but once she got comfortable away she went. She got to wear goggles and made the instructor change the goggles because she wanted the pink ones. It was really cute to see her. The swim instructor is a little tough, but it is good because Karly needs the direction because she just beats to her own drum and wants to just flutter around. The instructor was amazed that she has never had a formal swim lesson. She said she is amazed at how good she is just naturally. Olympics 2020 here we come!!
